Depart on a cycling tour in the heart of the Vietnamese countryside. Spend two days in the company of inhabitants. Last week we visited Thien An Orphanage in Ham Tan District in Binh Thuan. The orphanage has approximately 35 children, and also takes care of pregnant local women who would otherwise abort their pregnancies. The orphanage appears to be well managed, although it suffers from the usual lack of resources. We plan to visit Thien An Orphanage again in the next week or so. Sunday, 13 July 2008.

Habitat Global Village Build in Ghana. Sunday, August 19, 2007. Today, we went to the canopy walk in Kakum National Park. Some of us had a fear of heights while others experienced a bit of vertigo, but we all had a great time carefully maneuvering ourselves over the rope bridges forty meters above the rain forest. Ghana with a deep fondness. We hope that, in some small way, we have made their lives better. We know that they have done so for us. Habitat for Humanity Build in Ghana. It was difficult to say.

Dr Showalter Johnson Travels to St. Channel 8 News from St. Croix, Virgin Islands had the opportunity to interview Dr. Showalter Johnson, CEO of Global Village Group and Tim Polowick, the Vice-President of GVG. They met up with them at the airport and followed up with the executives at their Villa in St. Croix to speak briefly on their purpose for being there and what they intend to teach.
